This usually happens when you have internet explorer running as an app on your desktop. When you exit IE it will close, but it's still running because the process ID is cached. You can find this out by going to task manager and looking at the PID for IE.

ruby gems not working after modifying gem file
I'm new to using gems so I'm not sure what is going on here. I have a rbenv installation on my development environment. I modified the gem file and ran bundle update but when I try to install a gem I get the following error:
$ gem install japid
